Saturn
has rings, but did you know that Jupiter also has rings? That’s just one of the
amazing things about Jupiter, the fifth planet from the Sun. Jupiter is the
largest planet in the solar system, and is two and a half times the size of all
of the other planets combined. In fact, Jupiter’s nickname is The Gas Giant!
Jupiter
is primarily made up of hydrogen, and a bit of helium. It was recently
discovered that there are auroras on Jupiter, as well! Jupiter travels the
fastest speed out if all of the other planets in the solar system, and it takes
398.9 days to orbit around the Sun.
In
fact, there is a very little possibility of life on Jupiter. There would be
absolutely no human life, as there are only extremely small amounts of water on
the surface of Jupiter. However, there is a theory that there are creatures
living underneath the surface, relating to fish or early sea monsters. As these
are mainly guesses, nothing has been proven yet.
